a system of healing
what can chinese medicine do for me?
Chinese medicine has been practiced for over 2500 years by doctors and healers who have strived to better understand the human body as well as understand our relationship to the world that we live in. Through these insights, the physicians of the era have deduced that there is a direct relationship with our own lives and health when in contact and appreciation of the environments that surround us. By way of preventative healthcare practice principles, these doctors and healers based their entire practice on the sole principle that if we holistically treat the body by strengthening functionality (Yang) & material (Yin), we will know the body's own ways to confront and appreciate the environments and it's effects upon us. With better efficiency and adaptation, the capacity to encounter what affects us or transforms us, beneficially, as humans in a world upon which we exist in; this should be our measure and definition of health.
