Student intern clinic
about
We aspire to create an ecosystem of affordable, integrated health solutions for our community who seek out a more holistic approach to their healthcare needs. Through the Student Intern Clinic, we guide our patients on their paths to health, happiness, and wellness while giving our student interns the hands-on experience to learn more about the integration of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treatments with western medicine protocols.
❋ Intentional StructureStudent Interns will observe private treatments and shadow under practitioners. They will be observing, reviewing charts, and/or discussing the case for educational purposes. Portions of the treatment may be performed by a student intern who is learning advanced techniques under supervision throughout the session.
❋ Collaborative EnergyTreatments may include, but not limited to, acupuncture, moxibustion, electrical stimulation, herbal medicine, manual therapy, cupping, gua-sha, lifestyle and nutritional counseling. Not every treatment area listed above will necessarily be treated but each session is supervised by a licensed practitioner and could include more than one student intern.
❋ Expert FacilitationThis is a voluntary participation under the supervision of licensed acupuncturists who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose. Please expect there to be questions, teaching discussions, and demonstrations that may occur during the session as we shape our student interns into confident, proficient acupuncturists.
❋ A Supportive SpaceWe prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process. This is a welcome space for our future acupuncturists including our patients where learning and healing happens side by side.
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
